Main Purpose of Job:
Oversee a critical segment, steering its strategic alignment and operational effectiveness. Foster team growth, drive key initiatives, and ensure departmental targets align with organizational goals, fostering inter-departmental synergy.
Strategic Responsibilities:

- Lead a specific section or unit, ensuring strategic and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement tactical plans aligned with departmental goals.
- Manage and mentor staff within the section.
- Monitor section performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Functional Responsibilities:

- Develop & review financial, operational, and strategic information from subsidiaries to ensure alignment with group objectives, identify risks, and support informed decision-making at the corporate level.
- Oversee financial and operational performance of subsidiaries to ensure sustainable profitability and growth.
- Identify underperformance, value leakage, and recommend improvement opportunities to subsidiary management and department head.
- Review and challenge subsidiary budgets, business plans, and funding requests.
- Participate in subsidiary board meetings as an observer to enhance visibility.
- Drive strategic decisions related to equity participation, strategic stakes, joint ventures (JVs), initial public offerings (IPOs), and divestitures.
- Establish new entities to capture opportunities in government projects and greenfield investments under SPIMACO's control.
- Optimize and monitor subsidiary investment performance.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, partnerships, and restructuring proposals to maximize shareholder value.
- Identify financial, operational, and strategic risks at subsidiary level.
- Develop early warning indicators, including but not limited to liquidity stress, covenant breaches, governance or compliance gaps.
- Develop subsidiaries’ governance frameworks to align operational performance with SPIMACO corporate strategy.
- Support crisis management and recovery planning for distressed subsidiaries.
- Establish performance monitoring mechanisms to track KPIs, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with subsidiary leadership to drive strategic initiatives and operational optimization.
- Ensure subsidiaries comply with regulatory, financial, and corporate governance standards.
- Consolidate performance reports and present insights to executive leadership and board committees.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
- Professional Certificate in a relevant field
Experience
- Required: Minimum 13 years.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience at a Mid-Management level.
Language
- Required: English – proficient.
- Preferred: Arabic – proficient.
