Quality Control Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Check and evaluate the data of analytical reports of samples according to the laid down procedures
- Release, reject of products & Materials based on the testing results.
- Maintain Quality Control Specifications and Methods (QCSM) to ensure their availability for analysis and ensure that these are followed by the analysts while carrying out the analysis.
- Prepare, review and check of Quality CSM’s and ensures their conformance to the compendial and regulatory requirements, Comply with the Computerized Analytical Instrument Requirements(Audit trail, Security system and etc.)
- Schedule section activities to meet weekly Production schedule, product release requirements.
- Train the lab analysts to assure their qualification to perform analysis and Conduct training session for the lab staff for several related topics also conduct training for internal/external students. Maintain the records for reference.
- Prepare & update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure), WI (Work Instructions) and GTM’s (General Test Methods) to make sure that these documents are used whenever applicable.
- Maintain Quality Control Specifications and Methods (QCSM) to ensure their availability for analysis. Ensure that these are followed by the analysts while carrying out the analysis.
- Maintain the Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)/Calibration and performance of the lab equipment such as UPLC , HPLC, UV , Dissolution , Disintegration, the tablets physical testing apparatus and etc.
- Create protocols for different types of Stability Studies (Validation, revalidation, scale-up, annual monitoring, change control, deviations, evaluation of supplier, verifications, shelf-life extension).
- Maintain inventory of in-house and compendial reference standards for use in the lab testing.
- Maintain the raw materials reference samples.
Job Requirements:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Pharma, Microbiology or related sciences.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role in a relevant industry.
Preferred:
- Master Degree in related field.
- 3 years of experience as a supervisor or mid-management.
Language:
English -Proficient.
Arabic – Working knowledge.
